Satellite networking technologies provider Gilat Satellite Networks named Slava Frayter as its North American regional vice president, the company announced Dec. 2.
Frayter previously served as Vice President of the Americas region for Newtec, where he worked for 19 years. During his tenure, Frayter helped develop market strategy for significant expansion in the region. He will report to Michal Aharonov, vice president of Gilat’s Global Broadband Networks division.
“In alignment with our strategy to maintain on-the ground business presence worldwide and to enhance responsiveness to the significant business opportunities we see in North America, we have decided to appoint a dedicated Regional Vice President,” Aharonov said in a statement. “Towards that end, I am excited to welcome Slava Frayter, our new RVP for North America.”
